How do I sort the list by sitter's distance from me?

I want to be able to search for sitters near me. Although I put in my postcode, I can't work out what the system's default sort criteria is. I want it to supply a list of sitters by distance. I don't want to use the map which is not very good. Please tell me how to sort by distance.

PS I was a 'dog buddy' member and was migrated across to 'rover'. So far I am much prefer the way dog buddy's system work. It was very user friendly.
