Are dogs vaccinations checked out before stays?

I didn't notice anywhere in my "sign up" or profile where I needed to apply my dogs vaccinations. Is this information provided in some manner so that sitters taking in multiple dogs will know the dogs are all current on things like Dpp, bordetella, influenza, rabies etc. I would be concerned about my dog picking up illness at the pet sitter from dogs that are not kept up to date with their vaccinations who are also staying.

I require proof of vaccination for rabies and bordetella. I'll check paperwork but sending me a photo of the records is fine.

The Rover website does ask you whether your dog is current on certain basic vaccinations, like rabies. Since vaccination requirements vary by locale, you should read sitters' profiles to see what they require for their boarders, including copies of medical records. I require dogs to have all locally required vaccinations, plus Bordatella, which is considered optional but certainly advisable when dogs are boarded or go to daycare facilities. Owners must provide s copy of all current records.

I am new to Rover so I have decided not to take in dogs from more than one client at a time. That way I don't need to make a big deal out of checking potential clients vet records. I can see if they have rabies tags during the meet and greet and my own dogs are up to date on all their vaccinations.
I plan to expand to take in dogs from multiple clients concurrently at some point in the future (when I feel I'm ready). At that point I will ask my clients to sign a vet release when I do their meet and greet.

Feel free to ask any sitter their policies regarding vaccinations. I have clients self-report for vaccinations, and also sign a vet release which (in addition to allowing me to seek treatment in the event of illness or injury) allows me to confirm with their vet that vaccines are UTD at the time of the stay.
