I am a sitter just starting, can I advertise myself on Rover by putting up posters around my neighborhood?

I would like a lot of business and I know there are a lot of dogs and cats in my neighborhood so could I put up posters advertising myself on Rover and/or go door to door telling them about Rover and myself?

I suggest that you get yourself business cards and give them to people you see walking their dogs. Usually people are in a good mood while doing so and you can just start the conversation approaching the dog and petting.
