Is there a way to reserve calendar dates before booking a request?

I got my first potential client. We have a meet n greet coming up.

My question is do i need to update or do anything to calendar?

Waiting until the Meet n Greet to officially book, but i assume my calendar is still fully open for the potential days of the job. Right? And can i somehow hold those slots temporarily so other clients can know?

When you have a pending booking it blocks your calendar for the dates and services requested. So if you accept one dog for boarding and the client requests 3/20 to 3/23 you show up as unavailable for those dates. If you are willing to board multiple dogs your availability is reduced by the number of dogs in the pending booking. Hope this helps
