Is an email request legitimate, if i'm not finding the request in my Pending Requests?

I received an email request, but when I log in and look in pending requests, I don't see anything. Is this a legitimate request?

The site has had lots of SCAM booking requests lately, so if you don't see the request in the App or on the webpage, you can be certain it was removed by Rover support.
