What is the difference between rover, and rover GO? Also what determins when I will receive my first client? Lastly, what does it mean when I have received 1 treat?

I just had those three questions:

What is the difference between Rover, and Rover GO? What determines when I will get my first client? What does it mean when I have received a treat?

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter, have a great day.

This article describes the Rover Go program, bottom line is they take an additiona 5% from each booking, think carefully if you sign up for the program https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

Potential clients search for sitters in the area and select the one they feel best meets their requirments, there is no guarantee the joining Rover Go will get you clients sooner or more often.

Treats in this forum are given when you ask or answer a queston in this forum but count for nothing but show how active a participent you are. Best of luck with Rover.

I peaked at your profile and I suggest you change your profile picture as the refection from your glasses gives an errie effect

I actually went with Rover Go. I can't say for sure that having the "Go" badge gets me more clients but for me it felt like the right thing to do because there are a lot of sitters in my area and I wanted any advantage I could get. The biggest bonuses for me were the professional photographer, having my page re-written by someone who is more of an expert in what attracts clients (I'm actually a part time writer / blogger but this is not my niche), and the guarantee to be on the first page of listings. Most clients don't know what the Go means but they do see that I have badges and people seem to like that. I know a lot of other sitters are very successful without it. I do dog boarding primarily and I was contacted within hours of my profile going live. I know that other services are not quite as popular and it also depends on your area so there is no "rule" as to when you would get your first inquiry or client. You could get a message within hours but it may be days or even weeks or longer until someone contacts you to inquire. I hope this helps! Good luck!
