If I have a misdemenor can I be hired?

Very minor offense/Theft 3 so under 60.00/walked out of store with items not paid for on the bottom of my cart and took them/wasnt really even in the know about it as I loaded all the stuff purchased and from the bottom of cart/ This SHows as a misdemenor on my record. Can I work for rover with this on there from 2015? Thanks! Kelly
