how do i verify an upcoming booking?
I have sitters booked for late January but don't know how to verify it's still on their calendar.

If the booking has been confiremed by both you and the sitter it will appear on their calendar. If I were you I would reach out to the sitter to re-confirm via the phone number contained within the booking.
If you have paid for the booking, you should have received a confirmation from Rover. The sitter also receives one. The booking will show in your Inbox, under Upcoming Stays.
There's no harm in messaging the sitter beforehand as a reminder. I have no idea whether this is for a boarding job or housesitting, but if it is the latter, you could always touch base with the sitter about the time they will be coming over and other details. If you have booked your pet into boarding, then you could touch base about times and what you need to bring with.
