Why is my profile image not showing up?

The website is telling me that I need a 400 x 400 image to be set a my profile picture, but when I try to upload a picture that fits those dynamics, the website still tells me that either my image is too small and doesn't fit the correct image sizing, or that the website can't see my face. What do I do now?
