Anyone happy with the new profile format?

It appears Rover made significant changes to how our profile appears on the platform. And yet again Rover failed to notify the community about the change.

The format appears more mobile and tablet friendly. Font size appear small to me. Client photo's have been merged with profile photo's - many sitters on FB are pissed. We lost the stat of repeat clients - and that sucks !!

There may be more changes but these are the ones that stand out to me.

What do you think?

I like the new layout. I think it's more friendly. I just go with the flow and try to think that the changes are for the best.

What do you mean the repeat client stat is gone? I see number of repeat clients right under the percentage getting photos thing on the right? I see it on your profile, too, Walt.

Aside from flipping the right and left sides and eliminating the client pics, about the only difference is a lot more white space and maybe bigger font/emphasis on the Additional Rates link and what it represents, which could be a positive thing.

@karen I swear when I looked at it earlier today I didn't see repeats - and several other sitters said they didn't see theirs?? I poked you profile and saw yours!

And I checked yours as well before I wrote it.

@karen - hey look at the coverage area map on your profile I think this is also changed to just show your neighborhood?

True, but I can't recall what it was before. It didn't really matter to me. I would rather that they fixed their search system so that if someone puts in my zipcode you don't get results from a zillion miles away!

OK, I just checked and on the first page of search results, not a single one near my address.

Personally, I'm not too fond of the merging of photos. When I look at my profile my uploaded photos are in front of all the updates I had sent my clients and it's all just lumped together. Seems more disorganized. Wish that those had stayed separate. Or even if I could edit/adjust those in some way. Definitely a bummer that there was no communication from the bigwigs.

You should be able to delete the photos here: https://www.rover.com/account/profile/photos/ I'm not sure about rearranging though. Give it a try. I know on DogVacay you were able to do so.

Yah, I can delete the photos I've personally uploaded. Unfortunately any pictures that I sent to clients don't show up on that editing page. It's like they're there, but not there. haha Beforehand I could display my favorites up top, with updates sent to clients further down. I'm just grumbly :p
