Where do you buy your dog food?

When we rescued our first dogs, we bought the high-end food at small pet food stores. Then we became parents of a human, and couldn't afford the same priced food for them. Before the BJ's warehouse store closed near us, we always bought the dog food there. Then, we bought their food at Pet Smart, Pet Co and Pet Supermarket.

Where do you feel the best place is to buy your dog food? What are the highest priorities? Quality, Price, Convenience?

Tractor Supply Company. And I'll wait until they send me the 10% off total purchase coupon in the mail. Stock up on wet/dry food and treats at the same time. :)

http://Chewy.com is a great website for dog supplies. If you set up autoship you save a lot of money. It's even cheaper than Amazon for pet treats and toys.

I noticed your question was where to buy vs what food to buy. I recently discovered a site called http://chewey.com. Their prices are great and they offer a discount for autiship. They've been great so far!

Good eye, Hillary!

Oops! I just noticed I spelled the site wrong. It's chewy.com

I would never feed my dogs kibbles. When I run out of their regular food, I mix either lean chicken or turkey (yes, the kind humans eat) without the seasoning, with the base mix from The Honest Kitchen. You can get that from Amazon or other online stores.

I just switched food. I now buy my dog food from tractor supply. I buy 4health. It cost a little over $1 a pound. It is made in the U.S. and the first ingredient is chicken. It is also grain free and not full of flour or corn. Very happy I made rhe switch and it didn't kill the wallet ether.

I usually get my dogs food at Pet Club, not sure if they are a national chain but they have good prices. I feed my dog Origin.

I feed my dogs Costco's Nature's Domain. It's relatively inexpensive for the quality of ingredients.

My dog loves Acana Pacifica. Not only has it decreased his shedding but his coat is much softer and shiny. He loves it. We had him on raw and he loved that too but he's a big guy and needed too much of it and it was getting expensive. One day when we can afford it we will go back. I like purchasing our food at local pet boutiques. They normally do a lot of research on their brands unlike Petsmart and petco.
