What do I do when a dog urinates all over my house?

The dog I just boarded has a UTI and ended up urinating all over my home. How does Rover help sitters deal with such situations?

Communication with the client is key. Many clients will voluntarily offer to help with cleaning cost if it was excessive ( boarding dogs, we have to expect the occasional accident ). I personally use peroxide to remove odors and it works well. Plus we don't have carpet in the house.

Rover cannot help you deal with a dog that is peeing in your home. I recommend crating the dog or putting them in a small space that can be easily cleaned, taking them outside very frequently or using a belly band with a diaper to help contain the urine. Best of luck

I use vinegar on my hard surfaces after normal clean-up. It masks any residual urine scent and prevents other dogs from marking.

Vinegar is a good suggestion. I have carpets. I am renting a cleaner this weekend. Thanks.
