Does an extended stay refer to a dog staying more than one night?

Hi the extended rate setup is determined by the individual sitter so it is up to you. Many set it up to offer a slight discount when a dog is staying long term, typically not after 1 night but 5 or 7 nights. However many sitters don't use or offer it at all. I looked at your rates and you show an extended rate for boarding after 2 nights but without a discount.

More than one night is NOT an extended stay. It refers to longer-term stays, the duration of which you decide. I don't offer any discount for longer stays and have had dogs stay with me for two weeks and up to nearly a month. However, some sitters will offer a discount on stays longer than a week. I've even heard of sitters who increase their charges for longer stays because somehow it becomes more difficult the longer the dog stays with them. I'm not sure if I agree but that's not my call. However, as Walt pointed out, your current rate table doesn't make any sense not only using two days as the trigger for the extended stay but also that the rate is exactly the same.
