Do I tip whne I board my dog?

You're more than welcome to tip your sitter who works for you and provides a service for you. Just like a cab driver, just like a Lyft or Uber driver, you hairdresser, your milkman, your waitress :)

Tipping is not mandatory but if you decide to tip it will be greatly appreciated by your sitter. Tips can not be given on the Rover platform but can be by cash or a gift card.
