Are there any long term (6 months) boarders available?

We are in desperate need of a long term home for our dog, Harlem. We had a n accident at our house which requires vacating to repair. Our temporary housing will not allow Harlem to come with us. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would do a long term stay, but I am not sure where you’re located. I am in Tacoma, WA. 🙂

To answer your question, yes you may be able to find a long-term sitter for your pup, but it may not be easy. I suggest you search for sitters in your area, send out a booking request and begin a dialog with the sitter. Most sitters will require a 1 or 2-day stay prior to entering into a long-term booking to be sure your pup gets along with their dog and family dynamics. You may also want to consider calling Rover Support @ [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] to see if they can help you identify several possible sitters. Best of luck.

Leah, your chances of finding someone would be much better if you post where you are located. Good luck!
