Rate - Night vs. Day?

When I dog sit without Rover, I have a per day rate. On Rover, there is a per night rate. I was wondering if it can be changed to per day? Especially when owners drop off in morning and pick up later in the day. It doesn't seem right for them to pay per night, when there are whole days with the dog you aren't getting paid for.

Boarding and house sitting services are all 24 hours in duration, you can call it by day or by night it is the same.

Doggy Day Care is drop off your dog at your sitter's home in the morning and pick them up in the evening.

Hi Walt - it's not the same. For example if I dogsat independently Thursday-Sunday, I would get $200 (50/day). Through Rover, I would get $150 (50/night). I was wondering if there's a setting that I can change to per day instead of night.

I don't think you can charge by day for boarding though Rover- not automatically anyway. I let owners know I charge for boarding based on 24hrs and at my daycare rate beyond that. I always ask owners to commit to drop-off/pick-up times and then add any extra time as a additional cost in the booking.

I've got overnight sitter charging per hour per animal for overnight.
