If I am boarding someone’s dogs, how should I break down pricing for them? Can I negotiate? Do I charge for overnight, daytime, walking and general care? This would be my first booking?

I am trying to book my first client and need help on how to set the rates.

If you are boarding a dog, it is best to set your "nightly" rate to include 24-hour pet care as described in Rover's FAQ. That means it includes all feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, etc. There are some sitters who may charge on an a la carte basis, but you are setting up a confusing situation.

I took a look at your rates and you should increase your puppy rate across the board, especially daycare. Puppies are more work even for drop-ins and walks.

Also, unless you are professional groomer, that charge seems rather high for a bath. I don't even pay that much to my dog's groomer for a bath.
