I wanted to check to make sure that my account is active, so I searched for sitters in my zip code. My account did not display. How can I be sure that I am included in searches?
Many times if you search Rover when you are logged into the platform you won't show up. Looking at your profile I saw several things to work on. You only have one review you need more testimonials from friends and family. Take and pass the Rover 101 quiz and get the badge - it is important. Add more pictures! For boarding you will only take small dogs, this can hurt you when the client with larger dogs exclude you from searches. If you want traveling services, walks your service area is set very small. If you are logged in, you cannot search for yourself. I open a different browser to do so. But I see you; therefore, you are active.
When I search for house sitting in my area (a service I offer), I show up in the search, even when I'm logged in. I've never not seen myself in the search. I just searched for a house sitter in Tucson, AZ and you don't show up on all 7 pages, despite the fact that I can click your link from this page and see your profile. Plus, even though I clicked "Tucson, AZ, USA" from the dropdown on my first search, it gave me listings for Philadelphia. Anyways, if Rover told you they approved your profile and everything, then you should definitely contact them. This is a problem I've seen other sitters have.
