Find someone who doesn't have pets and who will allow your dog to be the only one in the home during the stay.

I don't think some pet owners understand this about rover, but sitters can pretty much do whatever they want. Set their own rates, decide how many dogs they will accept, make vaccine polices, ect. Rover is just here to provide a platform for sitters and owners to connect and to provide support if needed.

So basically you will have to talk to sitters in your area and figure out which ones meet your specific needs.

Individual sitters determine their vaccination requirements and depending on the age and breed of your pup will determine if they can provide care. When you search for sitters use the filters on the left side of the page for sitters that either only accepts 1 client dog at a time or doesn't own a dog. If I were you I would send a booking request to several local sitters to find the right fit for you and your pup. Best of luck

Personally, I keep each individual “client” separate. Feedings, walks, etc.
