why is this site so confusing?

Your site is confusing. There is nowhere to complain or complement you. Every time I tried to contact someone for a meet and greet (to simply MEET the sitter and for my dog to go to the sitter's house to meet her) I was slapped with a charge. For a meet and greet??? Really? $15 plus surcharges?? you have got to be kidding. Also, when I tried to update my profile with you, I had to enter information MULTIPLE TIMES because my info got dropped if I clicked on something to see if i had all the info I needed. I tried to upload a photo and my page got dropped and i had to re-do it THREE TIMES...

First off, if you are intending your complaint to reach Rover's attention, they do not use this site.

You can either call Rover Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] or use the webmail contact form found in Help

https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/re...

Also, just FYI, there is no cost for a M&G. Unfortunately, as you've found out, there is no way to request one without putting in a date and going through the booking process. However, message the sitter(s) that you want a M&G and nothing gets charged until both the sitter and you finalize.

Hi Sandy and Steve, Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble using this site/finding a sitter. As mentioned above you should not be paying for a meet and greet. (some sitters may try to charge for meet and greets but majority of the sitters do not charge) Meet and Greets should be at no charge, giving you and the sitter a chance to meet and to go over the details of your stay. Each sitter is considered independent, so prices all vary from sitter to sitter. I recommend that you reach out to a few sitters in your area. As for making sure your concerns are addressed. The Rover Support team is available 27/7 to help answer any questions or to help you find a sitter. I would recommend contacting them at 1-800-453-7889. My experience with them is they really want to make the site as user friendly for all. When ever I have issues they will make a notation about my concern and have the IT guys follow up, making sure my issues have been resolved. Again I do apologize that you are having so many issues but I would say don't give up just yet. Call the support team as I am sure they will be able to help. Welcome to Rover and Best of Luck!!
