Spin the wheel on Rover articles on Facebook?

Twice now I've clicked on a Rover article on Facebook & a wheel pops up to spin to earn credits. Then I'm told to check my email to claim credits and I never receive the email. Two questions...what are these credits for & why do I not ever receive the email? Yes, I've verified my email address is correct on Rover.

Rover usually doesn't sponsor posts on Facebook that promise earning any credits. They do offer a 1 time $20 off your first booking using a promo code that the sitter can provide.

I’m not referring to the promo code of which I’m aware of since I am a Rover sitter! Because I “like“ the http://Rover.com Sitters page on Facebook, articles do come across my newsfeed of which I do click on from time to time. I will take a screenshot next time and add to this post. Thank you Walt.

I would say what you are seeing is sites looking to collect your data and not really Rover related - I urge caution
