Once I archive a request (due to the owner not responding), can the owner still see our conversation/request if something changes and they actually need me last minute?

If I don't hear back from an owner about a request and I decide to archive it (due to the owner not responding), can that owner still reach out to me if they still need me last minute? Or once I have archived it - does the request/conversation disappear on the owner's side?
