Why are you expiring my bookings?

Please, please do not expire my bookings. This has happened several times and it confuses people and they go elsewhere. This last case cost me $360 in a lost booking:

Hi Pat -

I sorry I thought because I hadn't confirmed within the first 48 hours it cancelled it out. :( I ended up having to book at the Canine Country Club closer to my home. I would had preferred they stayed with someone who could show them more affection and time. (They are needy in terms of attention!) Anyway sorry I missed out and misunderstood the message sent by rover.

K -- I have your booking for Lola and Priscilla for 8/14-8/20 and am waiting for a confirmation. I hope your plans are still on. I'd love to meet your girls! P

So you see why I would rather handle my clients by myself.

If the booking isn't confirmed by you the sitter and the owner in 72 hours the booking moves to your archive folder. As a sitter, you must manage your booking requests and follow up with your clients to be sure they confirm then you won't experience future problems. Best of luck in the future

Who is this addressed to? If you think you are contacting Rover Customer Support, this is not the way. They don't use this board.
