Hello, Im very new to rover. How does the process work? and how do you make sure your prospect clients are safe? Does anyone do background checks on them before meeting them? Phone interviews? Any tips are welcome.
Welcome Stephanie. We do not do background checks on prospective clients. However we do take precautions. After the initial texts and/or phone conversations we set up a Meet & Greet to evaluate the pet and owner. This may be done in a public park with a follow-up Meet & Greet at your place if you will provide service at home or at the owner's place if you will provide traveling services. As a precaution you may want to have someone with you. And never accept a booking if you feel uncomfortable with either the dog or the owner. All the best!
