What are the guidelines for house sitting?

House sitting is for 24 hours, but that will change from sitter to sitter. Always confirm with your client what they are expecting and be realistic and honest in what you are able to provide and you'll be fine :)

Many sitters who house sit also work during the day, some at an unrelated job, some providing other Rover services, walking or drop-ins. At the Meet and Greet, I tell my prospective house-sitting clients that I walk dogs during the hours of 9-4 and ill be away from the house, but will stop in to walk their dog or give them a bit of outside time and the rest of the time I stay and care for their pets.
