If a dog is staying for several weeks, do I have to wait until the entire stay is over before I am paid any amount?

The solution is to book this stay as weekly, with the second and third weeks as repeat stays. Just discuss with the client before the stay begins to work out the timing of their approval on the other stays. Both parties benefit. They don't have to have the entire amount charged to their credit card all at once and you get paid weekly.
