Hello. I just joined Rover and would like to know how I manage income ? ie.....income tax ?

Not sure how I handle this service? Do I treat as business? Keep receipts?

Your reply is appreciated.

Thank-you Tracy Tretiak

As a Rover sitter, you are an independent contractor and are responsible to pay taxes on your earnings. Yes it is a business and many things you purchase can be considered taxable deductions. This article gives you some information https://suport.rover.com/hc/en-us/art...

I suggest you speak with a tax advisor for further guidance.
