Payment for number of visits per day?

I am going away on vacation and will need a sitter 3x per day EXCEPT for the first and last day when I need the sitter to come only 2x. It seems as though this isn't an option when I pay, it's either 2x per day or 3x per day. It sounds cheap, but I'd rather not pay for 2 visits when I don't need them.

Yes, this can be done. The sitter can modify the total price before you agree to book walking services (often this will show up as a +/- "cost adjustment" which they manually enter). I'd suggest you clearly document the dates and times in the messages, so everyone has the same understanding about the total number of visits.

The best way to do this is to contact Rover Support @ [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] and they can adjust the booking to reflect the correct number of visits per day. Sure what Deb mentioned will work but the booking will not reflect the current number of visits

Actually they don't. I ran into this situation over the weekend trying to help a client out and Rover wrote me back and told me to create a separate booking for the day with a different number of visits. I was a bit miffed tbh.

If you call them they CAN make the modification as I've had them do this before. And if this is a repeat client they can setup the number of visits per day as they wish

Good point, I was busy so I just emailed and requested them to fix the visit amounts. It was for a repeat client, but frankly it's just easier for him if I rebook on my end and send him the invoice. It was for 4 visits total but they told me I could do one visit a day and it would be fine, lol
