My dog has diabetes, are sitters open to giving insulin shots?

I am going on vacation and we have two roommates who will be looking after our dogs, but are not as reliable to give shots of insulin to my diabetic dog every 12 hours. I was curious if this is something that sitters on Rover are open to?

There are some sitters that are experienced in that & are around. Many are vet techs. I offer it since one of my dogs was diabetic and I gave him insulin injections for years. I agree with calling Customer Support ([Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. There are sitters on Rover who are qualified to give injections. Some may even be vet techs. You will have to search through their profiles under "Additional Skills." Unfortunately, there isn't a search filter. But if you need assistance, Rover's Customer Support should be able to find you a qualified sitter with that skill.
