How do I respond to Rover's automatic question "Are you available for the upcoming holiday?"?

Rover is asking on my dashboard "Are you available for the upcoming holiday?" I think that Rover says that answering Yes helps me get bookings because it moves me up in the Searches.

I am booked to dogsit but it's very local and I can still do home visits and walks. This is indicated on my calendar. Should I go ahead an answer "Yes"?

I don't want to turn down a lot of requests due to people looking for housesitters and misunderstanding that I can't do that.

Hi I see you at fairly new to Rover and best of luck. If you accept the prompt on your dashboard it will put a message on you profile when you show up in searches, yet it defaults to the availability you show in your calendar so if you are fully booked for house sitting you will show up for drop-in's, walks for that time frame. If someone has your profile link like a prior client it won't stop them from sending a booking request for house sitting; that's just how it works.

I think I mis-read, so you would still answer "yes" and make sure your calendar is updated for the services you are book.

You can answer "yes" as long as you are able to do walks and drop-ins' and your calendar shows you have availability. If you are contacted for "House Sit", let the person know that you have availability for walks and drop-in within a certain radius. You can always mark your calendar unavailable once booked in all services. Just go to your dashboard as it shows the options for the upcoming holiday.
