If I don't get a response for a booking, assume sitters aren't interested in my request?

I filled out a couple of requests last night for someone to keep my dog a week while I'm out of town. I asked if I could meet before booking anything. I haven't heard back yet, and was wondering after how long should I assume they are not interested in keeping my dog? I didn't want to contact too many sitters at the same time. I believe my emails went through since I got a text message immediately after submitting my request.

Sorry to hear you have encountered non-responsive sitters on the Rover platform, most typically respond in 24 hours, but many active sitters typically respond within a few minutes or hours. Call our Rover Match consultant team at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] and they will help you find a great sitter.
