Taxes for income under $20000?

Hello all! I made about $7000 last year and collect my income through paypal. Walking/sitting with Rover is my only income, but I will file joint with my husband. How did those in a similar situation file their taxes? I do not have any forms, as I was told I would receive none, but I (obviously) know what my 2017 income was. It’s down to the last minute now (I wish I weren’t such a procrastinator!) and I need advice. Please help! Thanks!

Carla--just wondering how everything turned out, as I am in pretty much the same boat for this upcoming tax season. (Didn't think I'd make >$10k over less than a year of Rover, but it turns out that lots of people needed pet care around here!) Thanks in advance.

Same here--I don't know what to do. What did you all do? How did you file? TIA.

Your Rover income should be reported on Schedule C most of us never get a 1099 form.
• If you’ve been paid out over $600 via check over the course of a calendar year, Rover will request a W-9 and will send you a 1099 tax form.

• If you’ve received $20,000 or more in payments via PayPal, then PayPal will contact you directly with details about your W-9 and 1099 forms.

• If you’ve received less than $600 via check or $20,000 via PayPal, you won’t receive a 1099 form from Rover or PayPal or be asked to submit a W-9.
