Why does my dog sleep in and eat her poop?

My dog is a 6-7 month old lab/pit/shepherded mix (as per the shelter). She was extremely sick when I got her (she was treated for parvo but did not have it and got better). I taker her out every hour for a walk so she can go poddy, additionally if she is gassy or wipers at the door I take her out. She has several behavioral issues such as, eating everything, peeing/pooping off pee pads, eating her filled and empty pee pads, biting me, getting extremely rough while playing, and going crazy on the leash while walking. I have been working with her to stop the negative behaviors (they started all the sudden without warring). I have tried kenneling her at night and when I leave for work, giving her a routine, and locking her in the bathroom for punishment. I should also note I play with her until she goes into her crazy semi-aggressive mode and starts to biting/jumping on me hard (often hurting me and making me bleed). I am not sure what else to do. But not with her eating and sleeping in her own poop (this started today) I am at then end of what I can handle. Since I rent an apartment I cannot afford for her to completely destroy my place. I have also used every carpet cleaner to take the smell out, At the time of cleaning I will not smell a thing but it always come back. I love her with all my hart and want it to all work out.

Some dogs eat poop because of the protein they smell in it so to them they act like it is food to be eaten. The behavior issues could arise from mutiple factors however one could be not enough excerise. Try taking her out more to burn off extra energy for a walk/jog. This has helped for many past dogs I took care of that started showing behavior issues. I know certian pet stores sell calming sprays as well that can sometimes work. One more additional suggestion is when you are away from home leave the tv or radio on this can also help them keep mentally stimulated. Hope these help.
