Why wont my payment show up?

I dog-sat from Friday night to Sunday morning. It showed when the stay was booked that the owner paid, it even showed it in pending payments (but only for a few seconds, and then it disappeared). It has now been 4 days since the stay ended, and no payment whatsoever is showing up. Why? I set up a paypal and everything. I'm getting frustrated

Did you set up automatic withdrawals from Rover to your Paypal account? If so, have you checked your Paypal account? If this is your first withdrawal from Rover to Paypal, I believe it can take up to 72 hours. You can read about it here:

Funds aren’t automatically withdrawn from Rover and transferred into PayPal. Funds are deposited into the sitter’s Rover account and then the sitter must manually transfer funds into their PayPal account - if the sitter has selected PayPal as their payment method of choice.
