Dog urinates for weird reasons?

I would also recommend that he is checked out by your veterinarian. They are going to want to run blood work and a urinalysis. This will check his levels inside and make sure that there is not something medically wrong causing there symptoms. There are several medical conditions that will cause a dog to drink more, urinate more, not be able to hold his/her bladder, ect. Just simply limiting his water intake is not going to help nor is it fair to your dog being that if it is a medical condition, he is not able to help it. Once you rule out a medical condition than okay I can understand limiting his water intake but I would make sure to rule out medical first! I know that many dog owners (not saying, you yourself but just in case) many owners are afraid to take their dog in for testing, afraid of what the results will come back with. I urge your (or anyone reading this) not to look at it that way. There are many different medical conditions that can cause these problems that are very treatable and you and your dog can live a long happy, healthy life with something as simple as giving a pill or just switching his diet. Early diagnosis is the key, so please do take him in to your local animal hospital to get checked out. Best of Luck!!

Hmmm, you might want to get him checked out at the vet to make sure there is nothing medical that is causing this. Other than that maybe try re-potty training him and possibly limiting his water intake (making sure he does drink water of course but not to the point of almost throwing up).
