Does rover's insurance cover lost items when we dog sit?

The reimbursement program has a $250 deductible so it would only kick in if the value is higher then that and the owner is responsible for paying the first $250, so most likely the harness wouldn't be something Rover can cover. I recommend asking the owner how much it was and see if you can reimburse them or give them discounted care for next time.

Rover's insurance only covers vet care for the pet you're sitting. It does not cover liability, loss, or damage.
