How can I delete a stay photo?

I accidentally sent a double of a stay photo to the owners via Rover messages and posted it to my profile. How can I delete the duplicate?

From a computer (not the app): 1. Inbox 2. Select conversation photo is in. 3. Stay Summary. 4. Select the dog’s name from the right (blue/small text). 5. Select the photo you’d like to hide, and then select Hide Photo (I don't know why yet, but SOME photos I took can be hidden and others can't).

I think there should definitely be a DELETE option, both for pics intentionally and UNINTENTIONALLY sent to clients.

I got a new phone and accidentally somehow selected EVERY picture in my photo folder and they started sending to the current client!!!! I turned my phone off until I got home, but when I turn it on I'm not sure if I can get wifi and data turned off fast enough to stop the pictures from sending. Also can't phone Rover because I will have to turn my phone on to do that.

Please give sitters more control over our pictures! Even if the pics aren't public, I don't want every pic on my phone going to the client and should be able to quickly delete them.

Absolutely agree. The setting should be on option to show on Rover site rather than the default adding everything.

I called Rover support. They said that only they can remove stay photos, but they were happy to do so.

I will ask them to change that policy; we should be able to add/remove those pictures.

We should be able to have the ability to do this. I showed a screen shot of my phone to a client to verify I was using a particular app. I didn't realize that I had is set to share with public and now a pic of my contacts is posted publicly.

This needs to be changed. It is now 2023 and this is still a problem. I can't delete my own photos (and if there is a way, then I can't find it and I have spent a ton of time searching both the app and desktop, along with forums like this one). This is crazy. It does it to the owners too. I've seen some random photos and pictures that probably shouldn't be public on owner's profiles. Rover needs to change this immediately.

Does anyone know if Rover support is working on this? I also uploaded duplicates and would like to take them down..

You can hide duplicate photos by going to the client's profile. It will show all the pictures uploaded of their dog, and you can select and hide any that you don't wish to be displayed publicly. Only you and the client will see those hidden pictures when they go to their profile, but they won't show up on your profile or be visible to anyone else.

Can you tell me how exactly to delete photos? I'm in the same boat as the original person who asked. I'm trying to delete photos in an active stay from appearing in my profile. The pet parents love lots of pics, but two will do for my profile! Thanks for what you can offer. I don't see a client profile to delete them from, other than the message string with them.

I'm in the same boat- I don't see an option to delete photos once I've selected them :(

I have the same question and have just submitted it to Rover support. Will get back to you when I hear from them.

Why should you have to call to delete a photo you added. I want to control my account

A dog injured my dog, and I want the photos of the injuries to stay on their public profile so that others can be warned that their dog is dangerous. However, I don't want the photos on MY profile as my dog was the one hurt. I don't want potential clients to think that their dog would be injured in my care as my dog is super sweet. I would love to just delete them from my side.
