Do you show up as unavabialble when you have reached your dog limit?

Hello,

I was wondering if you automatically show up as unavailable when you hit your dog limit? Or if you should set yourself as unavailable when you have other dogs staying at your house?

Thank you, -Christine C

Rover will mark you as unavailable, BUT if a person does not put dates into their search criteria you will still show up.

It's the same for any other parameters you have put on your profile - no puppies, spayed/neutered only, etc. If a person just plugs in a zip code and searches you will still show up and they can contact you.

Several times I have been contacted to watch a puppy or a huge dog (over 100 pounds) even though my profile states no puppies and no dogs over 50 pounds.

I don't know about others, but I have a limit of 1 dog per visit. So once I book a stay, Rover sets my my calendar to show me as unavailable for the entire visit.

Thank you for your answer. I have a much higher limit of dogs a night. I just do not want to be overwhelmed this weekend for the holidays and I hate turning people away so I wanted to make sure I would automatically show up as unavailable oncee I hit my limit. Thank you for your answer.
