who pays for background check?
Does Rover pay for background check or the dog sitter/walker? How much is this? Do I need to have this done before I can take clients?

When I signed up both my Background Check options said Free. I had no issues signing up and I submitted my ID for the background check, though I’m still waiting for the results, everything worked fine. But then I referred my Boyfriend to Rover and it seems he has to pay, did he do something wrong???
I just had the same issue, it seems like this is bc you referred your friend. When you refer someone you get $20 for doing so, so it seems like this is how they recoup that money. Because they only charge the $20 fee when someone is signing up through a referral. REALLY A SHAMEFUL WAY TO DO BUSINESS
