Dog behaviour?

I think it depends more on the individual dog. I always introduce dogs one at a time and separated by a gate for a few minutes first. It gives me a chance to read their body language and gives them a chance to calm down if they're overly excited. Keep in mind they're reading you too, so if you're nervous it may make them uneasy too.
