How long does it take to get refund on cancelled booking?

The sitter that we scheduled and had a complete booking with cancelled on me 1 week prior to our trip. She wanted to go out of town the day we scheduled the drop off and wasn't going to return until after 4 pm on what would have been the 2nd scheduled day. This left me scrambling to find boarding for 2 senior dogs, one of whom required injections 2xs a day. (Not easy to find.)

How do I receive my refund? and How long does it take to process my refund?

FYI, Rover takes cancellations by sitters very seriously and could even suspend her account. You, as a customer, shouldn't have had to scramble at the last minute. If Rover had been brought in right away, they could have found you a replacement and would have paid for any difference in fees.

The refund would be charged back to your credit card. I am wondering if Rover was even notified that this booking had been cancelled. I would get on the phone to them immediately to get this cleared up.
