My dog lost weight...any suggestions?

My Boston Terrier, who has coprophagia, lost weight after the holiday season. It might stressful for her when we had guests over, ate more poop, cold weather etc. No sign of sickness, good appetite, and active as usual. Anyway, I started increasing her food and giving her a boiled egg today. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks all!

I would recommend that she is seen by a Veterinarian. For you to have noticed a weight loss in your pup is a big deal, pets do not lose weight as quickly as people can. Although you mentioned that she is eating well and her activity is normal. I would still recommend that she is seen, Your veterinarian will be able to not only do a complete physical but will also run some blood work to check her values inside to see why she has lost so much weight. There is also a prescription diet food for dogs and cats, that is really high, rich in fat. A lot of animal hospitals will send clients home with this food when wanting the pets to gain weight. I know it is not the answer you were looking for but your Boston does need to see a vet. Best of Luck!
