I'm new and wondered?

... are there a lot of clients who are "ok" with having a sitter come 3-4x daily, as opposed to having the dog (s) sleep at the sitter's house? Also, what is the going rate for this type of service?

I agree with Amber. I charge $25 for 2-3 visits (I'm thinking about raising my rates for 3 visits because of gas prices). There are some owners who prefer to leave the dog in a familiar environment while they are away. Check the profiles of other sitters in your area to see what they charge and set your rates accordingly. When you get a request, make sure to determine at the meet and greet what your responsibilities are - mail, plants, lights, etc. I include all that in my rate, but just make sure to set expectations.

Thank you...I'll check out what others in the area are doing. I just saw this site and since I love pups, thought it'd be great to give it a try.

I provide potty relief visits 2 X a day for $35 within 10 miles of my home. I will bring in the mail, water plants, walk the dog, brush, and feed. I will be in their home between 30 mins to an hour depending on the pup. I don't get many customers for this service but there is a need. Hope that helps, Amber G.
