Do clients of Rover also need to pass a background check?
These days going to someone's home you don't know can be scary. How does Rover reassure their sitters that they are safe?

Rover clients are not subject to a background check as sitters are. As an independent contractor you must do your best at the meet and greet to assess whether the client, home, and location are safe and suitable for you, Rover cannot assist you in assuring your safety.

Agree with you.....WOW! Seems like their only priority is the clients not the employees. I’ll pass on working for them. Sorry. I am just as important as the dog owner!
