At what point is my address disclosed to the clients?

I have only have one booking so far since I am new to Rover. I can't remember if I had to manually type my address in a message for the client, or do they receive it at some point? Perhaps when I click the "Schedule a Meet and Greet" button? or any other time?

Another curious question is that I have had 2 people contact me so far, both did not have a clear idea of my location. One ended up booking anyway, and the other didn't (because it was so far away). We were a 20 minutes drive away from each other, and they claimed the Rover App said it was "within 1 mile". Does that affect my bookingscore in a negative way?

Thanks

Addresses aren't provided for security reasons with the initial booking request or at the time you schedule a meet and greet and it also depends on what service the client is requesting. If they are requesting a walk or a drop in the client will never get your address. For boarding or daycare, the client is provided your address when the booking is confirmed by both parties.

This does present a problem as you have noted; you need to provide your address in a text to the client for boarding or daycare. The same goes for walks and drop-ins as you the sitter need to ask the client for their address.

Don't fret over your booking score as it is just a measurement on how you are doing and has zero effect on acquiring clients. Best of luck to you
