I received a request for drop-in visits from almost 10 miles outside of my set radius. How did this dog owner see me and how can I make it that only owners in my 8-mile radius can request me?
The search algorithm pulls in sitters from a large geographic area and it doesn't appear to account for sitters radius all the time. I have a 5-mile service area, yet I have been contacted numerous times by folks like you more than 10 miles away. All you can do is say to the client "you are outside my service area" and archive the request. Other than mentioning it in your profile there is little you can do to prevent this from happening
