Why can I upload a video, recorded "off the Rover platform", from my Android phone, but not from my desktop?

If I record a video using the camera on my phone, I can then go onto Rover and upload that video. If I try to upload a video from my Win 10 desktop, it is invalid.

Rover's technology doesn't support cameras. I use a gopro and have to send it to owners emails but I can upload pictures to owners rover account emails. Doesn't make sense.

This is not an answer. It is another sitter complaining about the same failure.

A couple years ago we could add videos from camera/desktop. With all the changes (and continuing changes) rover system isn't compatible.

And yet you can add photos and video from the smart phone. Although now, the camera function (in the app) does not allow the picture (taken in the app) to be added to a text. This software is 2 steps forward 1-2 steps back. I request someone explain this software development protocol.

My ? to support: why can't I send a video that I made from a camera and downloaded to the desktop be sent thu the owner's rover account? Their answer: "It is possible that you are running into that error due to the length of the video. Videos longer than 15 seconds long will not be able to send

...through the Rover app. Instead I suggest either forwarding it to the owner's personal number or recording the video via the Rover app to make sure you hit the exact time limit." I suggest you call rover for more info.

!) Time has nothing to do with it. Smartphone videos are invalid, regardless of length. 2) I am not looking for workarounds I am looking for answers to my question I will call.....
