Yes, when you click book it now, Rover charges the credit card at that time, holds those funds until after the service is provided, and then pays the sitter their portion.

That's ridiculous! I have never heard of paying before a service is rendered. I have no intention of paying before I come home and find my pets and home safe and sound. You may want to review that policy.
