Incentive items to sitters? Advertisement materials?

I've been a sitter with http://Rover.com for over three years. I love it and they're a great company to work for. I've asked in the past for stickers I can put on my car to advertise, and they said they didn't have any. This past summer I stopped by their HQ in Seattle and the gal at the front desk gladly gave me three stickers. So now I have one on my car.

It would be beneficial to Rover if they provided free incentive items like this to sitters who have completed, say, their first 25 stays/walks. Other companies send you a free t-shirt so that you're recognizable when you arrive at the client's home. It'd be great for business if we could show up for a meet and greet wearing a t-shirt, so we look more professional and that we do represent the company.

Does anyone else agree?

I 100% agree. I saw they sell shirts for $18. But they also take enough fees out to where it shouldn't be a pain to hand out a shirt. I absolutely love working for rover as well, however I feel the same as far as rewarding sitters. Especially those with great reviews.

I completely agree! That would be wonderful. I've joined RoverGO and it's nice that they give you a choice of two welcome kits with different promotional items. Companies like Uber actually give bonuses and something like that every 25 bookings or so would be a GREAT incentive to get out there and promote Rover's services. For now, I'm not sure if you're aware but Rover does have a store where you can buy business cards, shirts, car magnets, etc.

Great idea, yes! Rover has in the past given swag to their top sitters, this happens occasionally but its not something you can count on nor have any idea when they may send something to you. Consider it an investment in your business if you purchase T-shirts or other promotional items

How does Rover determine who is a top sitter?

Great question! Right now, RoverGO provides their sitters with a FREE Welcome Package! I'll provide a little more information about RoverGO, which you can join by going to https://www.rover.com/go/ or emailing the team at rovergo@rover.com

You can also call anytime at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] and the team will go over the benefits and process of RoverGO in more depth!

RoverGO is a great option for sitters who are looking to get more—more bookings, more clients, more money. The team sets you up to earn loyal clients, 4-6 stays every month, and continue building a thriving dog-sitting business. Some of the benefits included in the program is a complimentary background check, a professionally written profile, a boost in search rankings if you're a new sitter, and a welcome package of your choice which contains dog bandanas, thank you cards, t-shirts, and more!

RoverGO is especially great for new sitters on the site - especially ones trying to really ramp up their business - because we provide a boost for the first 10 stays for new sitters! That means you show up higher in search results. Coupled with your professional photos and written profile, you really stand out to owners.

It's also free to sign-up - the only difference is that you keep 5% less of your earnings. For example, regular sitters keep 80% of their earnings on the site and GO sitters keep 75% of their earnings.

But overall, sitters with GO have the opportunity to earn $100+ more each month, have about 20% more conversations with dog owners, and get 10-15% more bookings than a regular sitter.
