Sitters: Sanitizing?

What do you do to minimize the spread of germs between dogs/stays? I'm thinking about special cleaning procedures, or avoiding toys that hard to thoroughly clean.

After a few stays, I learned to buy toys that either go in the washer dryer, and for the hard plastic toys, kongs and balls and whatnot I throw them in the dishwasher and spray them with a little disinfectant such as Lysol or a slightly watered down bleach mix and set it to a hot wash cycle. And since they majority of the toys are used by all the dogs, my first stop is the bargain bin at the pet shop (dogs don't care if it was 50 cents or 10 dollars)

At my place, bedding, blankets, and plush toys can all go in the washer & dryer. The food and water bowls and tougher non-plush toys get washed with blue Dawn and hot water. I rotate the toys, so I'm not cleaning an entire toy box after each visitor.
